this 3 shot combo finds themusicologist in troubled waters and reflects where my mind is at. A dance between tranquility, solitude and love.
“In your light I learn how to love.
In your beauty, how to make poems.
You dance inside my chest,
where no one sees you,
but sometimes I do,
and that sight becomes this art”.

Says it all really.
But if it doesn’t then perhaps these words from a Bob Dylan song says/adds a bit too.
“They say every man needs protection,
they say every man must fall.
Yet I swear I see my reflection
some place so high above this wall.
I see my light come shining
From the west unto the east
Any day now, any day now,
I shall be released.
Standing next to me in this lonely crowd,
is a man who swears he’s not to blame.
All day long I hear him shout so loud,
crying out that he was framed
I see my light come shining
From the west unto the east.
Any day now, any day now,
I shall be released.”
Mannn, the universal language of this tune is thumping/dancing in my chest and filling me ‘minces’ right now.
Who’s Ludovico??

It was Guy Fawkes day/night when I first asked the question. I’ll ask again… who is Ludovico? Or am I missing something?

Ludovico Einaudi is the Pianist on this tribute. The man is a virtuoso as far as themusicologist is concerned.

Beautiful music. Fitting.
Powerful words. Fitting.
While digging around for Ludovico Einaudi I somehow came across this… “O King” (a tribute to Martin Luther King) by Luciano Berio… it touched me.
